MALAWI GENERAL SECRETARY 'NEDD LOZANI' DIES

Mr Nedd Lozani
Central Africa Conference of Seventh Day Baptists has lost its general secretary Mr Nedd Lozani has died on Wednesday 21st March 2012 after serving for about 6 years in the office and he was re-elected to serve for other 6 years after the board members saw his good service in his last term. He collapsed at his home and never recovered, many think that might be a High Blood Pressure commonly known as (BP) Mr Lozani has died at the age of 65, he has left a wife, four sons and one daughter, and some grandchildren. This has happens when there have been some quarrels wish some group members as they force him to step down because of some rumors that he miss used some funds. Hence those protestors were some times organizing demonstrations which always frightened him that at certain point he almost to give up his ministry but the nation church board members encouraged him not to give up but instead should be strong. This riots started when he was about to finish his 6 years term and those protestors wanted him not to be an apposition of being re-erected so as to create chances of themselves to be erected. In fact many church members recommended his work as he was a hard worker, a man who always strive hard to achieve his vision, a man of God who wanted to develop the church and a true man of God who have done a lot in both spiritual and development than those who have been serving in similar positions before hi.

BIOGRAPHY

His full name is Nedd Chitekwe Lozani.he was born on February 9, 1947 in a Seventh Day Baptist household, he was the last child in a family of 10 children. His father was a Seventh Day Baptist Pastor until his death in 1961. who mostly earned his living from cultivating maize (corn), beans, sugar cane, cassava, ground nuts, vegetables, while also rearing goats and chickens.
While little boy Mr Lozani did his full Primary School Education from a Catholic Mission School and his  Secondary School Education was from a Seventh-day Adventist Mission School, where he obtained a School Leaving Certificate from Cambridge University. he was then selected to study at the University of Malawi Polytechnic from 1969 to 1972, where he attained a Diploma with Credit in Business Studies, majoring in Accountancy and Administration. Since graduating, he was employed by  Mobil Oil International, working with them for 32 and a half years in Marketing, Administration, and Operations until December, 2003 when he retired.
Mr Nedd Lozani and his wife Alefa
During the years he was working with Mobil Oil, he was privileged to serve in his local Seventh Day Baptist Church in various capacities including Sabbath School Superintendent, Deacon, and Elder.
Since 1984, he had been serving on the Board of Trustees of the Central Africa Conference of Seventh Day Baptist Churches as a member, Vice Board Chairman, and Board Chairman. When he retired from Mobil Oil in December, 2003, the Board of Trustees asked him in October 2004,  to assume the position of General Secretary of the Conference. he accepted the offer and continue to serve in that capacity.
Again Mr Lozani was married to Alefa, who is once been serving as a  National Chairperson for the Malawi Seventh Day Baptist Women’s Guild.
Mr Nedd Lozani  had once been a vice president of the world federation below is how the Board of Seventh Day Baptist World Federation was like.

WHO IS NEXT AFTER LOZANI?
Its our sincere pray to God to give us a good learder not one of those foxes who have been quarrelling need to dethrown Mr Lozani as it is clearly known that those people are not sent by God but satan because if they are sent by God they would not campaign for the general secretary positon, they would not desrepect Mr Lozani, they would not wish Mr Lozani died (as is it thought that Mr Lazani may collapse of BP which thought was high due to much pressure from those protestors who were always taken as true friends before) but they would appriciate Mr Lozani's job, they would accept Mr Lozani's mistake and give him good piece of advice till he fails back to good track. (they wanted).
Again it is our sincere prayer to God not to give those hungry FOX out there to lead Seventh Day Baptists in Central Africa Conference. Its not new to a Christ way to happen, this even Jesus passed in the same way that those who were taken as friends and relatives were the great enemies and full of jealousy just because they knew him well. But what do we rip after all if not sin and hell?
